The proposed merger of AT&T with T-Mobile in 2011 raised eyebrows, and AT&T’s spokespeople couldn’t afford a single communications hiccup. We provided advanced media training to the president of AT&T for Arizona and New Mexico, ensuring that he was fully prepared for everything from live television interviews to contentious editorial boards. As a result, the president led two media tours through the Southwest – visiting outlets like The Albuquerque Journal and the CBS television affiliate in Yuma, Ariz. — and highlighted the benefits of the proposed merger.
